Originally, the punctured holes of the brogue were there to let water drain out, but today they are just ornaments on an English classic.
The Last
The last of the balmoral Oxford has a slimmer back part to reduce the slipping of the heel and a slightly broader appearance on the forepart. The slim silhouette of the shoe ends with a soft square toe.

Shoe Care
It is important to regular maintain your shoes to ensure there longevity.
Before applying any products make sure to clean your shoes using a humidified sponge or cloth, then let them dry.
Once dry, use a conditioning cream to hydrate the leather, which will bring back its suppleness and shine. Use a cloth to apply the cream, then wait 10 to 20 minutes before buffing with a soft cloth.
If you want to give your patina an extra shine you can apply a good quality wax polish. Use a cotton rag twisted around your fingers to apply the wax, then remove the excess with a soft brush. The wax adds a small degree of protection against water and dirt.

CONSTRUCTION & LEATHER
The Cordoba II is Goodyear welted by our master craftsman, just like all Casa Fagliano shoes, finished with a bark tanned leather sole. The sole is hand-painted and waxed to protect from the elements. They are equipped with a “gentleman’s corner” to prevent the trouser’s cuffs from getting caught on the heel. The Casa Fagliano signature discreetly invites itself on the sole of the shoe.
The Cordoba II has five blind eyelets with waxed cotton laces.
The Cordova II is a velvet brown calf oxford with a natural finish, showcasing the rich hues and variations of the leather, making each shoe unique. The calf comes from the French “Tannerie d’Annonay”, a selection of the finest leather.
